Industry Involvement

Industry involvement is essential to our commitment to our clients. We strive for excellence and we achieve notable success when we are held to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

Our involvement with the following organizations allows us to ensure honesty and transparency. Our participation in the debt relief industry also guarantees that we are aware and up-to-date on industry-related legislation and news.

United States Organization for Bankruptcy Alternatives (USOBA)

The United States Organizations for Bankruptcy Alternatives represents members who are the “last line of help before going bankrupt.” It’s members include companies in the debt negotiation industry and do not include companies involved with credit counseling or bankruptcy. USOBA advocates for the fair regulation of the debt negotiation industry and consumer protection. Its members are considered leaders in the debt negotiation industry.

The Netcheck Commerce Bureau

The Netcheck Commerce Bureau is the first free public agency dedicated to assisting consumers and companies on the Internet with the ability to resolve disputes. Netcheck is an independent third party that can objectively judge the ethical standing of its members.

Through our membership, Debt Shield, like other Netcheck members, demonstrates devotion to ethical practices and honest business principles. Not only does our participation with Netcheck assure fairness and accountability on our part, but it also provides us with the opportunity to align with equally ethical businesses.

Since we joined Netcheck, we have had no consumer complaints to date.

WebAssured

WebAssured’s “Seal of Assurance” protects online consumers and benefits trustworthy online companies by setting a Universal Standard of Ethics and monitoring and enforcing these ethics through the “power of publicity.” Unsatisfied consumers can tell the world about any and all problems or mistreatment on the part of the company so that future consumers can be warned. The Seal protects consumers from dishonest businesses regardless of their size, previous reputation, or age.

Debt Shield has absolutely no pending or unresolved consumer complaints.

International Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators

The International Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators is an organization committed to “the highest standards of ethics, professional conduct, and responsible trading, for members operating in the Debt Settlement industry.”

They provide industry resources, training, certification, credibility and debt settlement industry knowledge, as well as a focus on fairness and professionalism. Their Code of Ethics elevates the IAPDA to be a “primary, specialist voice for the Debt Arbitration/Settlement industry in North America.” They also serve as a point of contact for consumer interest groups, legislators and the industry community.
