Awards & Affiliations
At Debt Shield, we are proud of each client who finds success with our debt settlement program. We've worked on behalf of thousands of consumers and so far we have successfully settled more than $100 million in unsecured debt. We are proud of our dedicated team of debt consultants, client advocates and negotiators because their work builds the support system needed to help our clients resolve their debt.
Their hard work has yielded other accomplishments as well.
Debt Shield Awards
As a strong and growing debt settlement company we constantly strive to reach new goals. But our focus remains the same - our priority will never be to win the most awards or earn the most recognition, but rather to remain true to our clients. Nonetheless, we are very proud to have received these prestigious awards:
Baltimore SmartCEO Future 50
Debt Shield was the first debt settlement company to be awarded the Baltimore SmartCEO Future 50 Award in January 2008. This award recognizes growing companies in the Greater Baltimore area. Debt Shield Affiliations
Checking out a company's memberships and affiliations is a great way for consumers to identify a high quality debt relief organization. Fraudulent companies often shy away from partnerships and memberships with industry organizations because such organizations tend to have high ethical standards and regularly scrutinize their members. While unethical companies prefer to operate under the radar, ethical companies welcome scrutiny.
At Debt Shield, we are associated with a number of reputable organizations:
United States Organization for Bankruptcy Alternatives
The United States Organizations for Bankruptcy Alternatives represents members who are the “last line of help before going bankrupt.” Its members include companies in the debt relief and debt settlement industry, as well as, consumer advocates for the fair regulation of the debt settlement industry. Some of its members are considered leaders in the debt settlement industry.
